Information we collect
Inland Training is the sole owner of the information collected through InlandFirearmsTraining.com, affiliated sites and documentation received from course registrants. Inland Firearms Training collects information from users at several different points on these web sites and other documentation transmitted to us from course registrants.
In order to register for courses or to receive our free email notifications or other publications, a user must complete a registration form. During registration a user provides contact information (name and email address or telephone number most common). Inland Training uses this information to communicate with and contact the user about services on our site or through our company in which they (user) have registered for a course or expressed interest.
Users are required to provide information on our order form. A user must provide contact information requested (name, email address, shipping address if applicable etc.) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date, etc.). We use this information for billing purposes and to fill user orders. If we have trouble processing an order, the provided information is used to contact the user.
We receive and store any information that comes through our web site or that a user gives us in any way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but that may result in you not being able to take full advantage of the benefits offered through our web sites and communication services.
Uses of information
Information is used for purposes of responding to user requests, understanding users needs and desires and communicating with you. WE DO NOT AND WILL NOT SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH ANY THIRD PARTIES.
Some information is received and stored automatically whenever we interact. For example, like most, we may use “cookies” that provide us with certain types of information. “Cookies” also serve the purpose of preventing our software from sending the same things to the same users and allows us to customize information and content based upon visitor’s browser type.
It helps us to know that you receive the information we send you, so we often receive confirmation when you open your email from us if your computer supports such capabilities. If you know longer wish to receive email or communication from us, then please follow the opt-out instructions listed later in this Privacy Notice.
We use a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not share, store, retain or use your personal identification information for any secondary purpose.
The latest in technology is used to protect the information you send us through our use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you input. These transactions are currently redirected and handled through our payment processor PayPal.
PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to their site, our server checks that you’re using an approved browser – one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
Once your information reaches them, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. PayPal servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.
Newsletter or notification list members can stop receiving them. Each communication has at the bottom of it the details of its opt-out option. Click on the option and proceed from there.

Users can do this on line through our site, via email, telephone, postal mail, etc. Help us keep your information accurate and up to date.
